What's included in my monthly fee?

Your monthly fee covers everything needed to keep your site live and running — hosting, SSL security, your domain, Google Analytics, and your monthly change allowance. On the Starter plan that's 2 changes per month. On Advanced it's 4 changes per month plus a monthly Google Analytics performance report. There are no surprise charges on top of your monthly rate.

Are there any hidden fees?

None. You pay a one-time setup fee and a flat monthly rate. Hosting, SSL, and your domain are all included. The only additional costs would be optional add-ons you specifically request — like extra pages at +$10/month per page. Everything is listed publicly on our pricing page, no sales call required.

When does my monthly billing start?

Your monthly billing starts the day your website goes live — not when you pay your setup fee. We build your site first, send you a preview for approval, and only launch once you're happy with it. Your first monthly charge happens on that launch day.

Who owns my website and domain?

Your domain is registered in your name — you own it fully and can take it with you at any time. The website itself is managed by monthlysites as part of your subscription. All content you provide — text, photos, and other assets — belongs to you and will be transferred to you on request. If you ever cancel and want your content files, just ask and we'll send them over.

What happens to my site if I cancel?

If you cancel, your website will be taken offline at the end of your current billing period. Your domain remains yours — we'll transfer it to you or your new provider. Any content or photos you provided will be sent to you on request. You won't lose anything that belongs to you.

Is there a contract or commitment?

No contract, ever. monthlysites is a month-to-month subscription and you can cancel at any time with no penalties or hoops to jump through. We'd rather earn your business every month than lock you into something you don't want.

How long does it take to get my site live?

Most sites are ready for preview within 3 to 5 business days after you submit your onboarding form. If you add extra pages or request more custom work, the timeline may flex slightly. Once you approve the preview your site goes live the same day.

Every site is custom built for your business. No two monthlysites sites look the same — your site is designed around your brand, your colors, your content, and your goals. We don't drop your information into a pre-made template and call it done.

A change is any update to your site — updating text, swapping an image, changing your hours, adding a new service, updating contact info, and so on.
